Job summary

Piping Rock Health Products, Inc. is seeking a Packaging Lead to oversee day-to-day packaging operations, ensuring adherence to SOPs and cGMPs while maintaining quality and output. You will supervise associates, coordinate packaging requirements, and train staff on safety and process standards.

This role requires hands-on leadership in a manufacturing environment, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long shifts, and work overtime as needed. Strong MS Office skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Must comply with GMP requirements and attend GMP and on-the-job training.
• 3-4 years of experience in packaging/production leading at least three associates.
• Able to read/write English.
• Available for overtime when needed.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended shifts.
• Able to work autonomously and make independent decisions.
• Must be able to prioritize tasks and multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and coordinates activities of associates engaged in packaging products and materials for shipment.
• Studies work orders to ascertain type and quantity of product, containers to be used, and other packaging requirements.
• Inspects products prior to packaging.
• Observes packaging operations and inspects bottles to verify conformance.
• Trains workers on SOPs and cGMPs.
• Ensures safety rules, GMPs and SOPs are followed.
• Assists with all packaging line functions.
• Coaches and counsels associates.
• Other duties as assigned.
