Job summary

Catallia Mexican Foods, LLC seeks an experienced Production Lead for the 2nd shift to supervise packaging operations and ensure quality standards are met. The role collaborates with production, quality, and maintenance teams to maintain safety and efficiency throughout the shift.

The ideal candidate will train new staff, manage line performance, and utilize the Plex ERP system for production monitoring. Overtime on Saturdays may be required based on demand.

Qualifications

• Ability to identify product quality and specification requirements and ensure products meet specifications.
• Ability to train new employees on duties, procedures and safety requirements.
• Ability to accurately measure ingredients and follow established formulas and procedures.
• Ability to monitor product quality and ensure established quality standards are met.
• Ability to safely operate and monitor food production and packaging equipment.
• Proven leadership experience in a production/lead role.

Responsibilities

• Oversee packaging area operations to meet safety and quality standards.
• Coordinate with production, quality and maintenance teams to ensure efficiency.
• Train employees and provide ongoing coaching to improve performance.
• Use ERP (PLEX) to monitor production and update changes.
• Lead daily crew meetings and ensure shift objectives are met.
