Job summary

Kettle Cuisine is seeking a Packing Team Lead for the Sunday-Thursday shift (2:30pm–11:00pm) in Green Bay, WI. The role leads the manufacturing team, ensures production targets are met, and maintains high quality and traceability.

Responsibilities include coaching staff, managing ERP transactions, coordinating with support functions, and ensuring GMP, safety, and food safety procedures are followed. Previous team-lead experience in manufacturing is preferred, with Spanish language skills a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years’ experience as a team leader in a manufacturing facility; food industry experience preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily checks of area for non-compliance and report them to supervisor.
• Ensure finished product conforms to specifications.
• Manufacture quality products efficiently within time and quantity parameters.
• Drive and motivate team to meet and exceed daily targets and deadlines.
• Complete required documentation for traceability.
• Remove out-of-spec material and verify date codes and labels.
• Report downtime to maintenance promptly.
• Plan activities to reduce downtime and record data.
• Manage ERP system transactions.
• Schedule and manage employees’ shifts, breaks, and tardiness.
• Communicate issues to relevant parties; conduct weekly team briefings.
• Coach and develop direct reports; foster continuous improvement.
• Direct employees on tasks per production needs; train new operators.
• Ensure paperwork/records are completed accurately.
• Provide daily management support to achieve operational success.
• Promote high standards through personal example and team rollout.
• Ensure team understands day-to-day targets and responsibilities.
• Collaborate with support functions to define processes and controls.
• Operate pallet jack and forklift as needed.
• Back-up packagers when required.
• Follow all GMP, safety, food safety, and environmental protocols.

• Communicate and update all relevant parties of any issues or changes.
• Conduct weekly team brief with direct reports.

• Responsible for training new operators for products and processes.
