Job summary

Lamb Weston is seeking a Laborer Packaging Trainee at its Boardman, OR facility. The role involves building, filling, staging and capping totes, with emphasis on sanitation and cold room operations. You will support the cold room team and help maintain safety and quality standards.

Ideal candidates communicate effectively in English, can perform basic math, and have a High School Diploma or GED. Some certifications may be required, with training provided as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate in English verbally and in writing.
• Ability to perform basic math functions.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred; certification in Lock-out/Tag-out, Forklift, and Sanitation may be required and training provided if not qualified.

Responsibilities

• Assist cold room operator in training new team members.
• Build, fill, stage, and cap totes in the cold room.
• Perform basic sanitation cleanup and apply chemicals in the cold room.
• Report safety, quality, and sanitation issues.
• Inspect materials, products, and equipment for defects.
• Maintain good housekeeping of the work area.
• Operate tote pallet dispensing system.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
