ASR Group Packaging Department is seeking a Packaging Laborer to support multiple stations in the Packaging Department. This entry-level role involves packaging, sealing and conveying sugar products, with repetitive hand and body movements and exposure to sugar dust.

You will perform tasks across packaging stations and help keep areas clean. The job requires flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and overtime.

Qualifications

• Entry level position with continuous heavy labor.
• Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and wear PPE.

Responsibilities

• Package, seal and convey sugar packages and related materials (weights 1–2000 lbs).
• Perform check weighing, cut-in of damaged packages, station cleaning, sorting and stacking of materials.
• Operate industrial hand trucks to transport palletized materials.
