Job summary

Bayer CropScience Limited in Whippany, New Jersey, invites a Spring/Fall 2027 Co-Op student to support Packaging Development tasks within the Packaging Engineering team. You will engage with cross-functional teams, manage packaging studies, and assist with PLM and component testing activities across the product lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Completion of at least one year, preferably two years, of undergraduate studies in Packaging or related discipline.
• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Packaging, Packaging Science, Packaging Engineering, Packaging Technology, or a related field.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; proficient with Word and Excel.
• Familiarity with PLM and data analysis tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support packaging developments, design renovations and testing across primary, secondary and tertiary packaging.
• Deliver assigned project tasks on time and in full.
• Assist with technical transfer of information to manufacturing sites and CMOs.
• Contribute to cross-functional project teams and manage drawings, testing, BOMs and qualifications.
• Help resolve packaging challenges to meet customer needs.
• Utilize PLM and barcode verification systems in daily work.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
• Integrate packaging activities with Consumer Health Product Experience teams and support label control processes.
• Collect and analyze packaging component and sustainability data.
