Job summary

Bayer CropScience Limited in Whippany, NJ is seeking a Packaging Operations Senior Packaging Engineer to lead the development of secondary and tertiary packaging and drive protection of brands with on-time project delivery.

This role collaborates with the US Product Supply and Development Center to contribute packaging strategy insights, manage transfers to factories/CMO, and work with cross-functional partners to optimize costs and manufacturing efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Engineering or equivalent.
• Proven track record in packaging development and business protection/maintenance.
• Experience in consumer healthcare or FMCG is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of secondary and tertiary packaging and ensure on-time, in-full project delivery.
• Provide effective technical transfer of information to factory/CMO and lead packaging leadership for US strategic protection projects.
• Collaborate with US Product Supply, Development Center and cross-functional teams to meet project needs and ensure adherence to requirements.
• Develop internal and external partnerships to optimize supplier selection, costs, and manufacturing efficiencies.
