Job summary

Ken’s Foods is seeking a General Laborer for 1st shift (Mon-Fri 6:30AM-3:00PM) to assist in packaging dressing and sauce products. Responsibilities include loading, palletizing, labeling, and basic production support in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements include the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work with cleaning chemicals. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and following GMP policies. Training may be provided.

Qualifications

• Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers.
• Ability to print and speak simple sentences.
• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience and/or training.

Responsibilities

• Operate manual and semi-automatic packaging equipment in a safe and timely manner
• Ensure compliance with corporate standards for food safety, quality and cleanliness
• Participate in machine and area cleaning in a safe and timely manner
• Locate and retrieve materials
• Load packaging materials into machine
• Pack and handle finished goods
• Apply labels to finished pallets
• Operate manual pallet jack and electric pallet stacker
• General housekeeping
• Other duties as assigned
