Job summary

Nbutexas is seeking a Packaging Maintenance Technician to join our maintenance team on the plant floor. This hands-on role focuses on repairing, troubleshooting, and maintaining packaging equipment to keep production running smoothly.

Ideal candidates bring 2–3+ years in manufacturing maintenance, strong mechanical and electrical skills, and knowledge of preventive maintenance, GMP, and food safety. You will collaborate across departments and contribute to continuous improvement in a stable,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade training preferred.
• 2 to 3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on experience with packaging equipment.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Working knowledge of preventive maintenance practices.
• Understanding of food safety and GMP requirements.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on repair, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance on production and packaging equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues on packaging and production lines.
• Support changeovers and equipment adjustments during production runs.
• Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize impact on production.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and work order documentation.
• Coordinate with production and quality teams to align maintenance with production schedules.
• Assist with spare parts inventory tracking and vendor coordination.
• Support capital projects, equipment installations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide guidance to production staff on basic equipment care and troubleshooting.

Requirements & Qualifications
