Job summary

Danone North America is seeking a Packaging Engineer who leads scale-up, validation, and commercialization of packaging innovations across foods and beverages. You will align packaging design, materials, and process conditions with quality and supply-chain needs to deliver robust, first-time-right solutions.

Responsibilities include co-leading trials from concept through first production, performing risk assessments, and maintaining specifications and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Packaging, Mechanical, Chemical or Food Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years in packaging engineering, development, industrialization, or commercialization.
• Hands-on packaging scale-up experience including plant trials, line qualification, startup, troubleshooting, and documentation.
• Experience with primary, secondary, and tertiary packaging in at least two formats.

Responsibilities

• Co-lead packaging scale-up from concept through validation, first production, and launch stabilization.
• Support innovation, renovation, productivity, sustainability, capacity, and business-continuity projects across platforms.
• Translate needs into validation plans, specifications, and recommendations.
• Co-own trial readiness including scope, materials, tooling, and documentation.
