Job summary

Danone North America is seeking a Sr Manager Process Engineer to lead process design, scale-up, validation, and commercialization across dairy, plant-based, and related platforms. You will drive safe, cost-effective, scalable solutions while guiding R&I, Operations, Quality & Food Safety, Engineering, and suppliers.

You will employ expertise in hygienic design and data-driven improvements, mentor teams, and influence senior leadership, with travel of 40–50% and a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• Must have 10+ years in process-engineering, scale-up or industrialization in food/beverage/CPG environments.
• Experience scaling bench or pilot to manufacturing with robust operating windows and validation plans.
• Ability to mentor talent, lead cross-functional work, and communicate risks to senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead process strategy, design, scale-up, validation, and commercialization for complex programs.
• Apply expertise in mixing, thermal and aseptic processing, homogenization, fermentation, filtration, filling, sanitation, controls, and automation.
• Define process parameters, operating windows, scale-up rules, control plans, and risk mitigations; resolve high-impact issues.
