Job summary

Stellar is seeking a Packaging Engineer to develop and implement advanced packaging solutions for varied product lines. You will work with product development, marketing and manufacturing to ensure innovative, functional packaging aligned with strategic goals.

The role requires knowledge of packaging materials, CAD proficiency, and a focus on sustainability and cost-effectiveness. Travel up to 25% may be required; offices are in Jacksonville, FL.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Packaging Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in packaging engineering or related field.
• Experience with AutoCAD 2D or 3D design software preferred.
• Familiarity with industry regulations and standards.

Responsibilities

• Create calculations to determine packaging equipment needs.
• Develop process flow diagrams and equipment layouts.
• Create or obtain packaging specifications and materials data.
• Estimate equipment costs and seek cost-saving options.
• Coordinate with third-party and client resources.
• Troubleshoot packaging line issues and implement solutions.
• Provide on-site project support for installation and commissioning.
• Ensure packaging solutions meet sustainability and company goals.
