3 Key Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Packaging Engineer for Primary & Secondary Packaging Design & Qualification (JP15849) in Thousand Oaks, CA.

This contract role supports design, qualification, and implementation of packaging components within a GMP environment. The position emphasizes test protocol writing, material evaluation, and documentation, with collaboration across Quality, Device Engineering, Supply Chain, Artwork, Manufacturing and Regulatory teams.

Qualifications

• Master degree OR Bachelor degree and 2 years of experience OR Associate degree and 6 years of experience OR High school diploma / GED and 8 years of experience

Responsibilities

• Support for testing and evaluation leading to recommendation and selection of primary and secondary packaging materials.
• Writing of test protocols, perform technical evaluations and testing to support reports used to justify the use of selected materials and packaging components.
• Support line trials and packaging validation activities prior to introduction of any new or change in components/processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Quality, Device Engineering, Supply Chain, Artwork, Manufacturing, Regulatory, etc.) in pre-commercial and commercial activities.
