Job summary

Eagle Foods is seeking a Packaging Engineer to lead development, qualification, and commercialization of packaging across its product portfolio, including meals, snacks, and milk products. You will partner with Product Development, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Procurement to deliver packaging solutions that improve protection, shelf life, sustainability, and consumer experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline as stated.
• 1+ years of packaging engineering experience in food/bev/CPG preferred.
• Knowledge of flexible packaging, cartons, corrugate, films, labels, and packaging equipment.
• Experience supporting manufacturing operations and commercialization activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and qualification of primary, secondary, and tertiary packaging for new products and line extensions.
• Collaborate with Product Development and Manufacturing to ensure packaging meets requirements and consumer expectations.
• Support stage-gate projects with packaging leadership from concept to commercialization.
• Develop packaging specifications, drawings, and technical documentation.
• Lead packaging trials, equipment validations, and first production runs; troubleshoot issues.
