Job summary

Delkor Systems in Arden Hills, Minnesota, seeks a creative Packaging Engineer to join our team. You will work closely with Sales, Marketing, Applications, Engineering, and Materials to develop packaging solutions that meet customer needs and drive new business opportunities, while ensuring technical excellence.

As the primary internal resource for packaging design, you will create concepts, develop samples and prototypes, evaluate materials, generate TOPS drawings for sales, support ROI

Qualifications

• Associate degree in engineering, packaging, business, marketing, communications, or related field; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of one year of related experience preferred.
• Familiarity with packaging equipment or related industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and assemble packaging samples—trays, cartons, cases, and more—using SolidWorks, ArtiosCAD, AutoCAD, Google SketchUp, and related tools.
• Maintain the packaging lab and all associated equipment, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and proper operation.
• Operate lab equipment including the Kongsberg cutting table, compression tester, and large-format graphic printer.
• Support Sales Engineers and Sales Managers with quotes, samples, drawings, follow‑ups, FATs, and general project needs.
• Create TOPS drawings to help sales teams illustrate packaging concepts to customers.
• Produce high‑quality packaging samples for sales presentations, marketing displays, and customer demonstrations.
