Job summary

Delkor Systems, Inc. is seeking a packaging engineer who designs packaging concepts, develops samples, evaluates materials, and provides technical expertise through sales and product development processes.

You will collaborate across Sales, Marketing, Applications, Engineering, and Materials to deliver market-ready packaging solutions. The role emphasizes hands-on development, cross-functional teamwork, and turning ideas into practical packaging outcomes, with an onsite work environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in engineering, packaging, business, marketing, communications, or related field is required.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Minimum of one year of related experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with packaging equipment or related industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and assemble packaging samples using SolidWorks, ArtiosCAD, AutoCAD, Google SketchUp and related tools.
• Maintain the packaging lab and equipment ensuring cleanliness and safety.
• Operate lab equipment including the Kongsberg cutting table, compression tester, and large-format printer.
• Support Sales Engineers with quotes, samples, drawings, follow-ups, FATs, and project needs.
• Respond to requests for samples, brochures, drawings, and materials used in customer conversations.
• Create TOPS drawings to illustrate packaging concepts for customers.
• Assist with ROI analyses when needed.
• Collaborate with Marketing to design packaging with integrated graphics.
• Participate in trade shows and conferences as required.
• Produce high-quality packaging samples for sales and marketing displays.
