Qualifications

• Bachelors’ degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Packaging Engineering required.
• 3–6+ years of experience in industrial or consumer packaging is essential.
• Proficient in 3D CAD software; ERP experience (SAP preferred) is required.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop parcel, pallet, and crate-based packaging solutions.
• Manage packaging development projects from design to validation and implementation.
• Review drawings and specs to determine packaging requirements and risk.
• Troubleshoot packaging issues across design, materials, manufacturing, and transportation.
• Develop packaging specs, drawings, and testing standards.
• Create and execute packaging test plans to validate designs.
• Collaborate across Engineering, Product Management, Operations, Sourcing, and Quality.
• Support new product introductions and packaging launch activities.
• Ensure manufacturability, efficiency, and cost optimization in packaging designs.
• Evaluate suppliers and_cost reduction opportunities.
