Qualifications

• 3+ years of packaging engineering or structural design experience.
• Proficiency with ArtiosCAD, Kasemake, or similar CAD software.
• Knowledge of corrugated/ carton board materials and manufacturing.
• Ability to read customer specifications and technical drawings.
• Familiarity with ISTA/ASTM testing and quality requirements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Design corrugated and carton packaging structures using CAD software.
• Create dielines, structural drawings, and prototypes.
• Develop, assemble, and test physical samples for validation.
• Coordinate with prepress, die-making, and production to ensure correct translation.
• Conduct package testing (compression, drop, vibration) per standards.
• Identify opportunities to reduce cost and improve sustainability.
• Maintain library of dielines, specs, and templates for reuse.
• Troubleshoot production/design issues and guide corrective actions.
