Job summary

L&M Corrugated is seeking a Corrugated Packaging Designer to turn customer requirements into functional packaging designs on-site in Wisconsin. You will design, test, and support packaging solutions while collaborating closely with Sales and other teams.

Responsibilities include developing specifications, creating layouts, performing performance evaluations, and ensuring manufacturability with accurate documentation. Strong communication and detail orientation are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with corrugated packaging design and products; at least six months preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to translate customer needs into practical packaging solutions.
• Strong communication and listening skills.
• Ability to collaborate with Sales, Production, and other teams.
• Capable of managing multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Design corrugated packaging products based on customer and product requirements.
• Review and develop specifications for new and existing items.
• Create layouts and support packaging workflows.
• Perform stacking analysis and compression performance evaluations.
• Order and receive cutting dies needed for production.
• Review designs for accuracy and manufacturability.
• Collaborate with Sales and other teams to meet customer needs.
• Support customer conversations when technical design expertise is needed.
• Troubleshoot packaging or design-related challenges.
• Maintain accurate documentation and design information.
• Manage multiple projects and priorities with high attention to detail.
