Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
• 1–3 years of experience in package engineering and development.
• Strong PC skills: MS Office, PowerPoint, CAD; Adobe Creative Suite preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble packaging prototypes for consumer testing to ensure quality and functionality.
• Manage development of new tooling to support packaging solutions.
• Coordinate with Division, Operations and Vendors to meet project goals.
• Adhere to key project deadlines and push division efforts for successful launches.
• Learn and apply packaging specifications, testing procedures, and troubleshooting.

Our client is seeking a Packaging Engineer to join their team. As a Packaging Engineer, you will be part of the Packaging Development Department supporting the Packaging Innovation Team. Job Title: Packaging Engineer

Location: Clark, NJ

Pay Range: $20/hr - $23/hr

What's the Job?

• Assemble packaging prototypes for consumer testing to ensure quality and functionality.
• Participate in managing the development of new tooling to support innovative packaging solutions.
• Understand and learn how to coordinate with Division, Operations, and Vendors to meet project goals.
• Adhere to key project deadlines and push division efforts to ensure successful launches.
• Learn and apply knowledge of packaging specifications, testing procedures, and troubleshooting technical issues.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• 1-3 years of proven experience in package engineering and development, preferably in cosmetics, consumer goods, or related fields.
• Strong PC skills, including MS Office, PowerPoint, and CAD software.
• Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite is preferred.
• Strong understanding of the packaging production process with meticulous attention to design details and quality.
