Job summary

Hoovy is seeking a creative Packaging Designer for on-site, part-time work at our Brielle, New Jersey office. You will take packaging projects from concept through production, collaborating with product development and ecommerce teams to deliver attention-grabbing, brand-strong packaging that communicates product benefits.

The role emphasizes dieline-driven layouts, production-ready artwork, and close collaboration with overseas factories to ensure accurate samples and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Professional packaging design or consumer product graphic design experience.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop.
• Experience working with packaging dielines and producing production-ready artwork.
• Strong understanding of typography, layout, color, branding and visual hierarchy.
• Excellent attention to detail, organization and proofreading skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• On-site work at the Brielle, NJ office.

Responsibilities

• Design new retail packaging and update existing packaging across product categories.

• Manage multiple projects while maintaining organized artwork and revision files.

About the Role

As our Packaging Designer, you’ll take packaging projects from initial concept through production. You’ll work closely with our product development and ecommerce teams to create packaging that captures attention, strengthens our brand, and clearly communicates each product’s features and benefits.This is an on site, part time position at our Brielle, New Jersey office, with the potential to grow into a full time role.

What You’ll Do
