Job summary

SBH Fashion is seeking a Packaging Designer to develop packaging for electronics, toys, accessories, and more. You will partner with the Creative Director to take ideas from concept to final production, owning projects and driving them to completion in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a strong portfolio, 3+ years of packaging or graphic design experience, and proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Packaging Design, Communication Design, or related field.
• 3+ years of packaging or graphic design experience.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating packaging design for consumer products or hard goods.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
• Strong typography, layout, color, branding, and print production knowledge.
• Experience with dielines and production-ready files.
• Ability to carry projects from concept through final execution.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Proactive attitude and ownership of projects.

Responsibilities

• Design packaging across diverse product categories.
• Translate concepts and business objectives into effective packaging solutions with the Creative Director.
• Manage projects from concept through production-ready artwork.
• Develop packaging systems, layouts, graphics, typography, color palettes, and storytelling.
• Create dieline-based artwork, mockups, presentations, and production files.
• Ensure packaging communicates features clearly while maintaining shelf presence.
• Adapt designs across products, formats, sizes, and retailer requirements.
• Collaborate with product development, marketing, sales, sourcing, and production partners.
• Review proofs and samples, identify production issues, and revise as needed.
• Maintain accuracy across copy, specifications, barcodes, and legal details.
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Stay current on packaging, retail, consumer-product, and visual design trends.
