Job summary

Jazwares is seeking a Manager of Packaging Design for boys' lines in plush and plastics. You will lead a team of designers, shape packaging concepts, and drive brand-aligned, cost-effective packaging across multiple toy lines.

You will oversee development from ideation through production, ensuring print specs, Pantone accuracy, and licensor approvals are met. The role demands strong leadership, strategic design decisions, and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Graphic Design, Art, Industrial Design, or related field.
• 3–5 years of package design experience in consumer products, with a primary focus on toy packaging.
• 2+ years of leadership/supervisory experience.
• Experience with style guides and packaging mock-ups.
• Experience in trade show design and presentation.
• Excellent graphic design skills with the ability to art direct.
• Strong conceptual and visual problem-solving skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Knowledge of printing processes, prepress requirements, and file formats.

Responsibilities

• Manage packaging designers across brands and lead design development lifecycle from concept to production.
• Develop innovative packaging systems that balance aesthetics, function, cost, and brand integrity.
• Evaluate packaging for fit, materials, manufacturability, cost, and market trends.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior management to resolve issues and align on strategy.
• Lead outsourced projects and manage timelines to meet deadlines.
• Ensure packaging designs reflect the company’s brand across products.
