Job summary

Jazwares, LLC is seeking a Manager of Packaging Design to lead a team of designers across boys' brands in plush and plastic toy lines. You will conceptualize and execute prototypes, shaping packaging with shape, color, graphics, and typography to resonate with target markets.

You will influence all consumer-facing design initiatives, ensuring brand consistency while collaborating with cross-functional teams and external vendors to deliver compelling packaging solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Art, Industrial Design, or related field.
• 3–5 years of package design experience in consumer products, with focus on toy packaging.
• 2+ years of leadership/supervisory experience.
• Experience with style guides and packaging mock-ups.
• Experience in trade show design and presentation.
• Excellent graphic design skills with ability to art direct.

Responsibilities

• Manage the design and development process from brainstorming to production within deadlines.
• Develop packaging design systems that balance aesthetics with brand integrity and functionality.
• Evaluate packaging for fit, materials, cost, manufacturability, and transport.
• Monitor consumer and market trends to inform packaging decisions.
• Coordinate with leaders and global teams on updates and objectives.
• Lead cross-functional meetings and manage outsourced projects.
