Symbiotic Services in Montgomeryville, PA is seeking an Engineer I to design and maintain engineering specifications for insulated shipping solutions and related components. You will support product development, prototyping, engineering documentation, BOMs, manufacturing, and change processes while collaborating with engineering and manufacturing teams.

The ideal candidate has a technical degree (Bachelor’s or Associate) or equivalent manufacturing experience, with hands-on CAD proficiency

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Associate degree in a technical or related field, or 4–6 years of manufacturing experience.
Proficiency with SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD software is required.
Experience with Agile PLM and MCAD systems or willingness to learn.
Strong communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work across functions.
Packaging industry experience is preferred.

Responsabilités

Design and develop packaging solutions with cross-functional teams.
Create prototypes and CAD drawings using SolidWorks and ArtiosCAD.
Develop prototype drawing specs for approvals, testing, and tooling.
Maintain drawings and bills of materials in Agile PLM.
Troubleshoot design issues in support of manufacturing.
Collaborate across departments on customer requirements and product development.
