Job summary

Sumitomo Electric Wiring Systems, Inc. seeks a Professional Coordinator at the El Paso Customer Service Center to support Stellantis/Rivian packaging programs and container tracking.

You will assist with production packaging changes to meet internal and external requirements, and help manage returnable packaging for profitability. Responsibilities include attending program launches, updating data portals, and tracking container movements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree strongly desired but not required.
• 1.5 years of varied automotive industry experience required (MPL, Supply Chain, Logistics).
• English language skills required. Strong Spanish language skills desired.
• Proficient in Microsoft Applications Suite (Excel, Power Point, Word).

Responsibilities

• Attend new program launch meetings and ensure container & packaging responsibilities within MPP processes are completed on time.
• Update customer container portals/websites/packaging forms with correct data.
• Limited travel to Mfg sites, customers, and suppliers as needed.
• Investigate and finalize customer containers and packaging for Production and Service parts.
• Assist with quoting, process improvements, and cost savings activities for Container Management.
• Provide updates on monthly KPI reporting to Packaging Engineering Manager.
• Achieve on-time signoffs for container forms/submissions for launches and changes.
• Track returnable container movement and report monthly activities to reduce losses.
• Cross-train with packaging team members to cover programs.
