Job summary
CPS Solutions is seeking a packaging planning specialist for automotive manufacturing in the United States. The role focuses on creating packaging concepts and prototypes for returnable and expendable containers, while independently planning charge-carrier solutions aligned with logistics and manufacturing needs.
You will specify technical requirements, define prototype acceptance criteria, and coordinate with technical departments, process partners, and suppliers.
Qualifications
- Experience in automotive packaging planning and special packaging planning.
- Knowledge of container construction methods in industrial automotive projects.
- Proficiency with Catia V5 or SolidWorks preferred.
- Basic tendering and contracting knowledge beneficial.
- Proficient in MS Office.
Responsibilities
- Create packaging concepts and prototypes for returnable and expendable containers.
- Independently plan charge-carrier solutions per logistics and manufacturing needs.
- Specify technical requirements and prototype acceptance criteria.
- Coordinate with technical departments, process partners, and suppliers.
- Assist Technical Purchasing with procurement processes and project documentation.
