Job summary

Oliver Inc. is seeking a structural packaging designer to own the folding-carton design process from concept to prototype.

You will translate client needs into workable CAD models, study market trends to guide materials, and recommend cost-effective solutions while maintaining strict version control. The role requires hands-on experience with ArtiosCAD and Excel, plus familiarity with Esko Cape Pack and WebCenter.

Qualifications

• Must have strong structural packaging design and converting knowledge.
• Hands-on experience running a sample cutting table.
• Proficiency with ArtiosCAD and Excel required.
• Familiarity with Esko Cape Pack and WebCenter is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the structural design process for folding cartons from ideation to prototype.
• Collaborate with clients to understand functional needs and constraints.
• Study consumer trends to guide material selection and innovation.
• Recommend cost-optimized materials based on availability and performance.
• Build designs in CAD (ArtiosCAD) and develop 2D/3D mockups.
• Operate and produce samples on the cutting table (Kongsberg).
• Maintain CAD and project files with disciplined version control.
• Manage multiple concurrent projects and deadlines.
