Job summary

Finlays Solutions is seeking a Packaging Buyer/Procurement Manager to lead the sourcing of packaging materials for coffee and juice products. You will manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and drive cost-saving initiatives in a global multi-unit setting.

The role requires strong analytical skills, packaging experience in Food & Beverage, and collaboration with R&D, Quality and supply chain teams to ensure supply continuity and pricing transparency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, agriculture economics, finance or business administration required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in packaging material purchases for food & beverage in a multi-unit global setting.
• Knowledge of commodity market data and cost-saving initiatives.
• Understanding of total cost of ownership and price transparency.
• Strong analytical skills and data-driven recommendations.
• Experience with ERP systems; D365 desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute packaging category strategies with spend analytics and supplier selection.
• Monitor market trends and cost drivers; provide updates to leadership.
• Negotiate contracts (spot buys, annual terms) compliant with specs and policies.
• Issue POs, resolve supplier issues, verify contract terms.
• Monitor inventory and coordinate with supply chain, production, and warehouse teams.
• Build and maintain supplier relationships and KPI performance.
• Collaborate with R&D, SRM and Quality on sourcing and sustainability.
• Support audits with procurement documentation.
