Job summary

Finlays Solutions is seeking a Raw Material Ingredients Buyer to procure inputs for coffee and juice products. You will manage the supply base in the Food & Beverage sector, develop category strategies, and drive value while reducing costs. You will collaborate across functions to ensure supply continuity and sustainability goals.

The role requires strong analytical capabilities, supplier relationship skills, and experience with ERP systems. Travel and cross-functional collaboration are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, agricultural economics, finance, or business administration.
• Minimum 5 years of experience managing raw material ingredient purchases in the Food and Beverage sector of the CPG industry.
• Understanding of commodity market data and trends for cost-saving decisions.
• Understanding of total cost of ownership principles, price transparency, and continuous improvement.
• Strong analytical skills and data-driven recommendations.
• Experience with ERP systems; D365 is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop category strategy including spend analytics and supplier identification.
• Monitor market trends and cost drivers to manage risks and drive competitive costs.
• Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers in line with specs and policies.
• Issue purchase orders and verify contract terms are met.
• Monitor inventory and coordinate with supply chain to prevent shortages/overstock.
• Develop relationships with suppliers and achieve KPIs and pricing.
