Job summary

Finlays Solutions is seeking a Raw Material Ingredients Buyer in the United States. The role focuses on procuring ingredients for our coffee and juice products, building supplier relationships, and driving value via cost optimization and supply continuity.

You will collaborate with procurement, supply chain, R&D, and quality teams across global partners to manage spend analytics, negotiate contracts, and ensure adherence to food-grade specifications and our standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, agricultural economics, finance, or business administration.
• Minimum 5 years of experience managing raw material ingredient purchases in Food & Beverage.
• Understanding of TCO, price transparency and cost-saving initiatives.
• Strong analytical skills and data-driven recommendations.
• Experience with ERP systems; D365 is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop category strategy with spend analytics and supplier options.
• Monitor market trends and provide leadership updates on dynamics.
• Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers while meeting food-grade standards.
• Issue POs, resolve issues, verify pricing and delivery terms.
• Monitor inventory and collaborate with supply chain, production and warehouse teams.
• Build supplier relationships and ensure KPI targets and pricing competitiveness.
• Collaborate with R&D, SRM and Quality on sourcing and sustainability goals.
• Support audits and regulatory inspections with procurement documentation.
• Perform other duties as required.
