Job summary

Cella by Randstad Digital is seeking an experienced packaging designer to join our in-house agency team in Summit, NJ. You will craft packaging design intents, shopper toolkits, and master assets while guiding regional adaptations to preserve core brand equities.

You will ensure compliance with regulatory and multilingual requirements, apply sustainability-by-design principles, and collaborate across Brand Building, Design Realization, and external partners to drive end-to-end packaging

Qualifications

• 5+ years of FMCG/CPG packaging design experience (in-house or agency).
• Strong portfolio demonstrating design-to-print excellence across substrates and processes.
• Proven ability to translate brand strategy into production-ready design intents.
• Expertise in color management, prepress, and proof/press checks.
• Experience leading and collaborating with designers and agency partners.

Responsibilities

• Develop packaging design intents, shopper toolkits, and master assets.
• Guide regional adaptation while preserving core brand equities.
• Ensure packaging meets regulatory, claims, and multilingual requirements with clear hierarchy and legibility.
• Embed sustainability-by-design principles in partnership with Global Packaging teams.
• Connect with Brand Building, Design Realization, internal teams, and external partners.
• Track and integrate creative trends into packaging development and shopper assets.
• Lead color/print feasibility and support press approvals, codifying learnings into standards.
• Collaborate with regional teams to address local regulations and languages without compromising brand integrity.
