Cella by Randstad Digital in Framingham, MA, is seeking a creative packaging designer for a 6-month W2 contract. The role blends on-site and remote collaboration with a global retail business, delivering brand packaging from concept through execution.

You will partner with the Senior Packaging Specialist, design boxes, hangtags and labels, and manage proofs, photography, and prototypes while meeting deadlines and quality standards.

Formación

• Approx. 4–6 years of design experience, with retail packaging experience preferred.
• BFA or related degree in design preferred.
• Fluency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop) and standard office apps.

Responsabilidades

• Brand packaging creation in collaboration with the Senior Packaging Specialist.
• End-to-end project execution from concept to shelf placement and approvals.
• Deliver visual tools and artwork assets to internal and external stakeholders.
• Cross-functional collaboration with Product Development, Vendors, Agents and internal teams.
• Assist with package photography requirements and physical prototypes.
• Manage category deadlines and execute special projects.

Location: Hybrid (2 days onsite, 3 days remote) in Framingham, MAContract Duration: 6-Month W2 Contract (Full-Time, 40 hours/week) with potential for extension or conversion based on performance and business needsCompensation Range: $37.00 - $43.00/hourSupport an industry-leading global retail business with trend-forward packaging solutions across diverse product categories. In this role, you will act as a key creative force in developing high-impact packaging-ranging from boxes to hangtags and labels-while collaborating with dynamic cross-functional teams.Responsibilities:Brand Packaging Creation: Partnering with the Senior Packaging Specialist to design compelling brand packaging (boxes, hangtags, labels, etc.) that aligns with established brand guidelines.End-to-End Execution: Following projects from initial concept to shelf placement-reviewing, proofing, approving components before press, and ensuring accurate execution.Tool & Asset Delivery: Compiling and releasing visual tools and artwork assets requested by both internal and external stakeholders.Cross-Functional Communication: Collaborating with Product Development, Vendors, Agents, and internal teams throughout the design process to align on expectations and deadlines.Prototypes & Photography: Assisting with package photography requirements and executing physical prototypes for presentation and approval needs.Special Projects: Managing category deadlines and executing special projects as assigned.Qualifications:Experience: Approximately 4-6 years of design-related experience. Prior retail packaging design experience is strongly preferred.Education: BFA or a related degree in design preferred.Technical Skills: High fluency in Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Illustrator and Photoshop) along with standard supporting office applications.Design Acumen: An excellent sense of color, typography, and style suitable for retail brand packaging.Professional Soft Skills: Exceptional organizational, communication, and presentation skills.
