Job summary

Lignetics Inc. is seeking a Production Worker / Packaging Operator in Oregon to operate bagging and baler equipment, assist with pellet mills, and maintain a clean, safe work area.

The role requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and pass forklift training. The position is temp to hire with a starting wage of $21.00 per hour, shift 6am–6pm, Monday through Thursday with occasional overtime.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior forklift and production line experience preferred.
• Good eye, hand and foot coordination.
• Will need to pass the company forklift training.
• Required to read and interpret scales.
• Requires mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Requires the ability to do simple math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Operate bagging and baler machines and related equipment.
• Move and wrap completed products and keep workstation clean.
• Assist Shift Leads and start/stop pellet mills.
• Monitor moisture/material issues and report findings.
• Stack and palletize finished goods and prepare for warehouse storage.
• Follow safety guidelines and maintain productivity.
