INDUSTRIAL PACKAGING SUPPLIES INC in Fort Worth, TX is seeking an Automation Specialist to develop and drive the sales of packaging equipment. You will lead plant surveys, specify equipment solutions, and build relationships with engineers and operation leaders.

The role requires 3+ years in packaging equipment, proficiency with AutoCAD for layouts, and strong communication and organizational skills to manage multiple projects and deliver value to customers.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of packaging equipment experience.
• Ability to utilize AutoCAD to generate plant layouts.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Good interpersonal and conflict management skills.
• Technical skills: PC software; Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Develop and drive the sales of packaging equipment.
• Lead training activities for the sales force on new technologies and functionalities.
• Generate packaging equipment and material handling solutions via plant surveys and opportunities.
• Build relationships with plant engineers, operation leaders and equipment buyers.
• Create accurate plant layouts and conceptual drawings for projects.
• Identify opportunities in packaging automation and provide solutions to drive sales and profit.
• Maintain awareness of marketplace opportunities and threats.
