Job summary

Viking Masek Packaging Technologies is seeking a Project Manager to lead packaging automation projects from quote through completion. You will own scope, schedules, budgets, and customer communications, coordinating across departments to ensure high-quality outcomes.

You will guide cross‑functional teams, interpret mechanical and automation requirements, and manage risks to deliver successful projects. Collaboration with Engineering, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Sales is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 1–3 years managing technical or capital equipment projects; packaging machinery preferred.
• Strong technical aptitude and understanding of mechanical systems, automation, and manufacturing processes.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a win‑win approach.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and coordinate with cross‑functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead project execution with detailed plans for scope, schedules, resources, milestones, and budgets.
• Align Engineering, Manufacturing, Procurement, Sales, and other teams to goals and timelines.
• Serve as primary contact for customers; translate needs into actionable requirements.
• Oversee FAT/SAT, design reviews, and ensure deliverables meet requirements.
• Identify risks early and manage scope, schedule, and cost changes.
• Monitor performance and drive issue resolution across stakeholders.
• Capture lessons learned to improve future project execution.
