Job summary

Novolex in Mooresville, NC is seeking entry-level Packers for night and day shifts in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include packing, inspecting and loading products, with a focus on quality and efficiency.

Pay starts at $19.13 per hour plus a $1.00 shift differential, with weekly pay and full benefits; training and growth opportunities are available through our learning programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Ability to work independently as well as working with others effectively as a part of a team is essential.
• Good verbal & interpersonal communication skills; ability to work well in group situations; ability to deal effectively with conflict in mature & consistent manner.
• Flexibility to work overtime and off shifts as needed.
• Must be able to stand for 10-12 hours due to the nature of the work.
• Must be able to wear the required PPE to enter the plant/complete the tasks.
• We expect regular and timely attendance to avoid disruption to the team and the line.
• Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Prepare boxes to be loaded, visually inspect product, load product, and stack finished cases.
• Ensure efficient, quality-oriented production and help meet line targets.
• Perform general housekeeping and other duties as assigned.
• Support manufacturing group to keep the line running smoothly.
