Job summary

Novolex is seeking a Packaging Associate for Franklin Park, IL, on the Night Shift (7:00 pm – 7:00 am). Compensation is $18.00-$20.00 per hour, with opportunities to grow within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will work as part of a team, follow standard work instructions, keep the area clean, and participate in labeling/boxing as needed. Novolex offers comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to work effectively with others as part of a team is essential.
• Ability to follow standard work instructions is required.

Responsibilities

• Checks finished product for quality issues, as it comes off of the conveyor.
• Packs plastic containers and lids of various sizes into sleeves & boxes.
• Grinds scrap material out of sleeves.
• After packing containers, pass the box to the "tape machine".
• Responsible for keeping the work area clean.
• Builds and labels boxes as needed.
• Grinds poor quality product.
• Re-packs product as needed.
• Cleans inside and outside of machinery.
• Other duties may be assigned.
