Job summary

Altium Packaging in Newark, Delaware is seeking a Production Packaging Associate to join our manufacturing team. This entry-level role handles packaging of materials and finished products, loads and moves materials, and operates packaging equipment in a fast-paced plant environment.

You will follow GMPs, monitor lines, inspect bottles, replenish supplies, label and batch-pack according to customer requirements, and contribute to a safe, organized workplace.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills are required.
• Basic computer experience is required.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates safe work practices by wearing PPE and following safety policies.
• Demonstrates punctuality and adheres to work schedule.
• Works well with others and demonstrates teamwork.
• Follows company manufacturing policies and keeps the work area tidy.
• Monitors conveyor belts and clears bottle jams from lines.
• Inspects bottles during production and packaging for defects.
• Performs bottle inspections and drop tests on designated lines.
• Replenishes packaging materials and ensures correct labeling.
• Moves finished goods to designated areas and maintains workstation organization.
• Overtime may be required due to business needs.
