Job summary

Belmark is seeking a Packaging Application Engineer for our Folding Carton division. You will join a family that values customers and their successes while working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

You will support the sales process by identifying designs to fit customer needs, training customers, and assisting with product reliability. Travel to customer facilities may be required to land new accounts and secure repeat business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering or technology field, with typically three years of Packaging Application Engineer experience.
• Strong problem-solving and data analysis skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead Sales team and customers in defining end-use requirements.
• Establish size, shape, design and tooling specifications for new opportunities.
• Create and evaluate material options and finish specs to meet customer needs.
• Manage daily project flow with accuracy, speed and service.
• Collaborate with suppliers and production to test materials and drive quality improvements.
