Job summary

Belmark Inc. is seeking an Operations Manager for its Flexible Packaging division. You will provide strategic leadership for multiple plants, driving safety, quality, productivity and customer satisfaction while guiding growth initiatives.

The role requires strong cross-functional collaboration, data-driven decision making, and the ability to develop leaders and processes across operations. On-site leadership and travel will be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Management, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Seven+ years of manufacturing leadership experience in a supervisor or manager role.
• Experience in Flexible Packaging or converting industry preferred.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations, equipment, and printing processes.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety procedures and uphold Safe Quality Foods requirements.
• Maintain and improve safety culture with metrics, housekeeping, and hazard mitigation.
• Set direction for Flexible Packaging business unit over a rolling 3-year timeframe.
• Establish and achieve financial and performance metrics for multiple plants.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain, Product Management, Tech, Engineering and HR to meet demand.
• Develop and mentor leadership and onboarding processes across operations.
• Drive standardization and manufacturing strategies based on data trends.
