Fastenal Co. in Indianapolis is hiring for full-time Packaging at our IN180 Manufacturing Facility. You will package and fulfill orders by hand or by machine, weigh product for accuracy, and ensure proper sealing and packing for customers and branches.

Full-time Shift(s): MON TUE WED THU FRI 7:00am - 5:00pm

OVERVIEW:

Find your future at Fastenal! Our distribution center is hiring energetic, team oriented individuals to work in our fast pace warehouse! Working as Full-time Packaging, you will help facilitate the movement of product throughout the distribution center to company owned branches. You will package and fulfill orders by hand or by machine. Counting parts by hand or using a scale, weighing product for accuracy and properly sealing/packing product for customers and branches will be your main responsibility. This is an entry-level position based out of our distribution center located at 3939 W 56th St, Indianapolis, IN 46254. This position may offer a flexible schedule after a period of onboarding, training, and meeting performance goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• o Packaging customer orders by hand or machine

• o Participating in activities and programs that help the company achieve health, safety and sustainability objectives

REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

• o Proficient written and oral communication skills

• o Demonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgency
• o Willingness to perform repetitive tasks over long periods of time
• o Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment

• o Lift, slide, carry and lower packages that typically weigh 25lbs-50lbs and may weigh up to 100lbs
