Job summary

Fastenal Co. is seeking a full-time Terminal Warehouse Support at our Phoenix hub to assist drivers, sort products, and manage pre-departure paperwork at 1775 E University Dr, Phoenix, AZ 85034.

The role requires independence and teamwork, ability to lift 25–50 lbs (up to 100 lbs), and a willingness to work a flexible schedule. Onsite duties include maintaining a clean work area and following safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet driving record requirements.
• Ability to pass drug screen (US, Puerto Rico and Guam).
• Pass a sex offender registry check.

OVERVIEW:

Find your future at Fastenal! Our distribution center is hiring energetic, team oriented individuals to work in our fast pace warehouse! Working as Full-time Terminal Warehouse Support, you will assist a team of drivers at 1775 E University Dr, Phoenix, AZ in loading trucks and pre-departure paperwork. As well as, sorting product that is brought back to the HUB by the driver. Fastenal Company is committed to environmental protection and to providing a safe and healthy workplace for all employees. This position may offer a flexible schedule after a period of onboarding, training, and meeting performance goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assisting drivers with pre-departure duties

REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

The following skills and qualifications are required for this position:

• 18 years of age or over, due to the nature of work
• 18 years of age or older
• Possess a current full valid driver's license issued in the country where the job is located (including successful completion of any applicable graduated license program for your state or province) as well as the ability to meet our driving record requirements to use a company vehicle, as needed
• Proficient written and oral communication skills
• Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite
• Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
• Work independently as well as in a team environment
• Demonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities
• Willingness to load and unload trailers
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule/extra time as needed

• Lift, slide, carry and lower packages that typically weigh 25lbs-50lbs and may weigh up to 100lbs
• Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY)
