Job summary

Quality Harvest Foods Corp in Portland, Oregon is seeking a dependable Packager Swing Shift to join our packaging team on a part-time, non-exempt hourly schedule. You will follow count and weight standards to package finished product, keep the line moving, and prepare cases for shipment.

We value reliable attendance, the ability to lift up to 35 lbs, and comfort working in a fast-paced environment with varying temperatures.

• Must read, write and understand English.
• Food production or packaging experience is a plus; we will train the right person.

Responsibilities

• Package finished product into boxes following count and weight standards.
• Maintain smooth production flow and proper product alignment.
• Tape, label, and stack finished cases onto pallets for shipment.
• Spot and report any product quality or packaging issues to your line lead.
• Keep the work area clean and organized per food safety and 5S standards.

Packager Swing Shift
Part-time | 20–40 hrs/week | Non-exempt / Hourly

What you'll do

Package finished product into boxes accurately following count and weight standards

Keep the production line moving smoothly by maintaining product flow and alignment

Tape, label, and stack finished cases onto pallets for shipment

Spot and report any product quality or packaging issues to your line lead

Keep your work area clean and organized in line with food safety and 5S standards

What we're looking for

Reliable attendance — your team counts on you being there

Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. and stand for extended periods throughout the shift

Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with varying temperatures

Ability to read, write, and understand English

Food production or packaging experience is a plus — but we're happy to train the right person

• Monday through Friday 2:00PM - 10:30 PM
• 20-30 hours a week depending on production schedule
