Job summary

Aerotek in La Crosse, WI, seeks a Packager 1 to support general production, machine operation, and warehouse tasks across 1st and 2nd shifts, with limited 3rd shift availability.

You will load and organize materials, assist with packaging and labeling, and help keep operations safe and efficient in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Job Description

This role offers opportunities in general production, machine operation, and warehouse support within a busy manufacturing environment. You will help keep operations running smoothly and safely by handling materials, operating basic equipment, and supporting production and packaging activities across 1st and 2nd shifts, with limited 3rd shift availability.

Work Environment

The role is based in a manufacturing facility where most positions work indoors in production, machine operation, or warehouse areas. The environment is active and fast‑paced, with frequent movement of materials and products. There are limited opportunities for hybrid indoor/outdoor roles for those who prefer a mix of working inside and outside. Work is performed around production machinery, packaging equipment, and material‑handling tools, and may involve standing, walking, lifting, and moving items throughout the shift while following safety and cleanliness standards.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of La Crosse, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job‑related factors.
