Job summary

QCS Staffing Ltd seeks a Package Owner (Piping) for a US North Carolina project on a Life Sciences program. This initial 12-month contract focuses on owning piping packages, reviewing P&IDs, isometrics, and vendor documents to ensure design intent is met and field installability is optimized.

You will provide field input to design reviews, verify site conditions, and coordinate across disciplines to resolve clashes and interfaces, driving action through to completion on schedule.

Qualifications

• Extensive piping experience on complex industrial or capital projects.
• Strong ability to read and interpret P&IDs, isometrics, specs and vendor docs.
• Ability to translate design requirements into field solutions.
• Proven experience coordinating across disciplines and driving issues to closure.

Responsibilities

• Review P&IDs, piping drawings, isometrics and vendor info against design intent and project requirements.

Package Owner (Piping) – US, North Carolina – Initial 12-Month Contract – Life Sciences

Be part of a next- generation pharmaceutical project that’s transforming how medicines are made.

We’re supporting a major new-build facility in North Carolina, a multi-billion-dollar investment designed to push the boundaries of science and engineering. We’re looking for a Package Owner to support this project and help deliver this world-class program.

What You’ll Deliver

• Review P&IDs, piping drawings, isometrics, specifications and vendor information against design intent and project requirements, including routing, gradients, supports and access.
• Provide field input to design reviews; verify site conditions and identify constructability, installation and maintenance constraints before they cause rework.
• Own package design comments, discrepancies and requests for information (RFIs) through closure; coordinate engineering approval and communicate agreed changes to the field.
• Coordinate piping interfaces with equipment, vendor skids, instrumentation and structures; resolve clashes and package boundary gaps with the relevant disciplines.

What you’ll need:

• Extensive, relevant piping experience on complex industrial or major capital projects, with substantial hands-on field experience.
• Strong practical knowledge of process and utility piping, fabrication, installation, supports and pressure testing.
• Confident interpreting P&IDs, isometrics, specifications and vendor documentation and translating design requirements into workable field solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to resolve technical issues with designers and contractors, coordinate across disciplines and drive actions to completion.
