Qualifications

• Ability to train multiple peer PHs simultaneously.
• Ability to understand and follow instruction regarding work duties and safety methods.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment.
• Ability to discern numbers and information to sort packages correctly.
• PHs operating switching equipment must have a valid driver’s license and maintain a DOT file.

Responsibilities

• Trains new PHs on unloading, loading, palletizing, carrying, smalls handling, SWAK, and non-conveyable package handling techniques.
• Provides training to other PHs in need of additional instruction.
• Reinforces dock safety standards and updates managers on conditions during the sort.
