Job summary

Please Assist Me in Washington, DC is hiring a full-time Package Assistant Manager to oversee the on-site package room, enter packages into the system, and assist residents in locating deliveries. You will ensure accurate handling, tracking, and timely distribution of packages, coordinating with residents and building staff.

The role requires warehouse or delivery experience, reliable attendance, and the ability to lift 45–50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse and/or delivery experience.
• Availability to work 9am–7pm Thursday to Saturday or 9am–7pm Monday to Wednesday and 12–4 on Sunday; interview may adjust.
• Ability to follow verbal directions.
• Ability to work well alone and with a teammate.
• Reliable and punctual with a commitment to high-quality work.
• Able to adapt to changing schedules; strong time management.
• Organized and able to follow a schedule.
• Physically able to lift up to 45–50 pounds and stand for long periods.

What does a Please Assist Me Package Assistant Manager do?

• Package Management: Managing an on-site package room. Duties include entering packages into the system, placing packages inside units, organizing the package room, and helping residents find their packages.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have previous warehouse and/or delivery experience.
• Must be available from 9am - 7pm hours each day on Thursday, Friday, & Saturday and 2-7pm on Wednesday OR 9am - 7pm hours each day on Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday and 12-4 on Sunday. To be determined after interview.
• Ability to follow verbal directions.
• Ability to work well alone and with an amazing teammate!
• Reliable and punctual with a commitment to completing the job at the highest level.
• Able to adapt to changing schedules or routines; excellent time management skills.
• Organized and able to follow a schedule.
• Physically able to reach, stretch, bend, and walk during the daily routine, with the ability to stand for long lengths of time; ability to lift up to 45 to 50 pounds.
• $20-22 per hour
