Job summary

Please Assist Me, Inc. in Washington DC is seeking a part-time Package Assistant to manage an on-site package room, log incoming items, and deliver packages to residents. The role requires reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work independently as part of a small team.

Hours are 1-7pm on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday with weekend coverage as needed. Physical capability to lift up to 25-30 pounds and to stand for long periods is required; $18 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must be available Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday 1-7pm.
• Must be available weekends for coverage as needed.
• Ability to follow verbal directions.
• Ability to work well alone and with an amazing teammate!
• Reliable and punctual with a commitment to completing the job at the highest level.
• Able to adapt to changing schedules or routines; excellent time management skills.
• Organized and able to follow a schedule.
• Physically able to reach, stretch, bend, and walk during the daily routine, with the ability to stand for long lengths of time; ability to lift up to 25 to 30 pounds.

• Package Management: Managing an on-site package room, entering packages into the system, delivering packages to residents, organizing the package room, and helping residents find their packages.
