Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. is seeking a Pack Operator for the Shelbyville, KY manufacturing site on the 2nd shift (3:00pm-11:30pm). The role involves operating, changing over, debugging, and sustaining machines to ensure smooth production flow, while maintaining safety and quality standards.

You will follow blueprints and standard work instructions, perform basic math, and complete all required documentation. This is an on-site position with a comprehensive benefits package included.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to use and operate basic tools, equipment, & gages.
• Ability to read and follow blueprints and standard work instructions.
• Basic math skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Light physical effort, 5–25 pounds.
• Read/write English; follow safety/quality instructions.
• Flexibility to work overtime.
• No recent written disciplinary actions.

Responsibilities

• Operate, change over, adjust, troubleshoot, and clean machines to maintain flow of product.
• Maintain a safe work environment and follow 6S principles.
• Ensure products meet specifications and quality standards.
• Complete documentation and labels accurately.
• Handle scrap, rework, and mixed product properly.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
